HighTechXL is a deep-tech venture builder based at High Tech Campus Eindhoven in the Netherlands, founded in 2014. It scouts groundbreaking technologies at TRL3+ from institutes including CERN, ESA, TNO, and Philips, pairs them with vetted co-founders through a structured process, and supports ventures through a 12-month program. In 2025, HighTechXL launched PreSeedXL, an €11M fund backed partly by RVO providing milestone-based grants of up to €175,000 per venture. The programme has created 102 ventures, raised €171M in funding, and generated 3,000+ new jobs. Program duration: 12 months.
