Communitech is a Waterloo Region-based technology ecosystem organization founded in 1997 and headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario. It supports tech companies at every stage—from first-time founders to scaling businesses—through programs, events, mentorship, and connections to talent, capital, and customers. The organization provides support in AI, intellectual property, and commercialization, and hosts tech companies at the Communitech Hub in Kitchener. In FY25, Communitech facilitated $111M+ in capital raised and provided 263+ introductions to its startup members.
