Big Idea Ventures is a global food tech and alternative protein accelerator with offices in the US, Europe, and Asia, running a five-month rolling program for startups in sustainable proteins, fats, ingredients, sweeteners, and food technology. Selected companies receive investment of $75,000–$200,000 through two SAFE notes plus in-kind support, mentorship from food industry experts, and access to global corporate partners, buyers, and investors. The program culminates in in-person and virtual Demo Days. All portfolio companies must be fully vegan (cultivated meat is an exception). Program duration: 5 months.
